Founded in 2009, the Park City Pioneers are based in Park City, Utah and are competing as members of USA hockey’s Sr. Elite division. The Pioneers roster is composed of former professional, collegiate and elite amateur players from within the intermountain region as well as several who have traveled from various locations within the United States and Europe in order to further their hockey careers in Utah. The Pioneers play a fast, hard hitting brand of hockey and compete annually against teams from Utah, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado as they pursue a berth in the USA Hockey national championship tournament and Utah Sr. Elite State Champonship tournament.
